The City of Brunswick operates under the Council-Manager form of government.
The City Manager is appointed by City Council based on professional experience, education and commitment to public service. The City Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the City overseeing the appointed department heads. He directs the departments of Police, Fire, Service, Parks/Recreation, Law, Finance, Community and Economic Development, Engineering, Building, Administrative Services, Information Technology and Cable.
The City Manager provides leadership and guidance to the department directors, supervisors and staff members as they work closely to implement programs and deliver public services necessary for the well-being of the community.
