Weddings
The Mayor can officiate a wedding ceremony. He prefers to schedule weddings on Tuesdays before
Mayor’s Court at 5:00 pm. Or, weddings may be scheduled on the second or fourth Monday of the
month before a Council Meeting at 7:00 p.m. The fee for a wedding is $40.00. Weddings must be
scheduled ahead of time by calling 330-225-9144. The bride and groom will need to obtain their
marriage license from Medina Probate Court. Medina Probate Court can be reached by calling 330-225-
7100, and asking for Probate Court. Once the wedding ceremony is scheduled, the marriage license can
be dropped off at City Hall the week before the ceremony is scheduled, and the fees can be paid at that
time.
