Narrow your search

Perhaps you are looking for something on the City's website, but the first ten results that come up are all PDF documents (such as City Council minutes.)

To search only web pages and exclude PDFs, include "-pdf" in your search. For example, if you're searching for information about Mayor's Court, type

mayor's court -pdf

(Note that there is no space between the dash and "pdf".)

If you want to search for an exact phrase, enclose the phrase in quotation marks, such as this:

"economic development"

This will exclude references to similar phrases, such as Community Development.

Can't open documents?

A number of documents on this website are in PDF format. You should be able to either open them in your browser window, or download and open them.

If you can't, you should make sure you have a PDF reader application (such as Adobe Reader) installed, along with an updated web browser (such as Safari, Firefox, Google Chrome or IE)..

Below right are versions of Adobe Reader which are available from Adobe's website. For iPhone, Blackberry and other mobile devices, you may need to visit your device's app store and search for a PDF reader.
