organizes baseball, softball and tee ball for players ages 5 - 18. It is run entirely by volunteers and always looking for those interested in running for board positions. General meetings are held the second Thursday of every month  and are open to the public. Board meetings are held the last Thursday of every month at the same time at City Hall. Fees will be set when the budget is settled in October. Manager applications are in the newsletter registration form.

UXL Sports and Fitness and Brunswick's Recreational Center will once again co-host Indoor Youth Soccer Developmental and Training Leagues for the late fall/winter of 2011-2012.

Training/scrimmage opportunities will be offered in 6 week blocks beginning in November in the following categories:- U6, U8, U10 and U12.

Program details

Groups of similar age and ability are scheduled in 90 minute increments. Within the allotted period of time each group will participate in 45 to 60 minutes of skills development training, followed by a short (organizationed) break and then a 20 to 35 minute scrimmage game. The emphasis will be on the mastery of the basic skills of the sport.

The scrimmages are "incidental" to the training and no scores will be recorded.
Training/games will take place in the Brunswick Rec Center's gymnasium or at UXL Sports and Fitness in our 3200 square foot "carpeted" Sports Specific Training Room.

Program days and dates

The program will take place on Saturdays and Sundays (after 11:30 on Sundays).

Session 1 - Begins the weekend of Nov. 12th. (registration deadline is Oct. 29th)

Session 2 - Begins the weekend of Jan. 7th. ((registration deadline is Dec. 27th)

Session 3 - Begins the weekend of Feb. 18th. ((registration deadline is Feb. 4th)

Future Stars Indoor Soccer Development League

$50 per participant per six (consecutive) week session. Cost includes a T-shirt* for each player.

* Participants will receive only one T-shirt per (3 session) season.
