Membership benefits

In addition to use of the building during open recreation times, a membership entitles you to the following: Free fitness
instruction for new members, Free Concerts and Special Events. Discounts on most classes, programs, activities
and room rentals.

Membership cards

Photo identification cards will be issued to each member by the Brunswick Community Recreation & Fitness Center. This card must be presented to enter the facility and must be worn.

The member is responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced ID cards. A $1 fee will be charged for admission for a forgotten
pass and a $5 fee to replace a lost pass.

Payment

All fees are payable in full with cash, check, Visa or MasterCard. Checks should be made payable to “City of Brunswick.” Checks not honored by the bank for any reason will be charged a $20 service fee.

Residency

Residents are defined as persons and their immediate families who live in the City of Brunswick. Non-resident usage of our programs and facilities is encouraged. However, since non-residents do not pay property and/or income taxes, it is only fair they pay a higher fee for participating. To receive resident rates or school district rates, proof of residency is required along with a completed membership application.

Fees

Fees have been established for the Brunswick Community Recreation & Fitness Center. The fees include the use of the
gym, running track, swimming pool, fitness center, locker rooms, whirlpool, sauna, etc.

Do you work in Brunswick but live outside the City area? Any person who resides outside the City of Brunswick but is employed by a business operating in the City of Brunswick, full- or -art-time, may walk into the Rec Center with proof of employment and purchase a corporate membership for the following rates:

* A family consists of a parent, legally married parents or guardian and all children (18 and under) residing in the same household, and full time college student(s) still living at home, ages 19-22 enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per quarter. You must bring in proof of enrollment and class credits.

Individuals who are the sole or majority owner of developed commercial, industrial or residential property in the City of Brunswick or School District Non-resident Area, can purchase annual family or individual memberships for their immediate family at the Resident or School District Non-resident rates respectively.

The following fees are for those individuals who do not possess a current active membership but would still like to use the Rec Center on a daily basis.

We require anyone age 16 and over, purchasing a daily admission wrist band, to show us a driver's license or photo ID.
