organizes baseball, softball and tee ball for players ages 5 - 18. It is run entirely by volunteers and always looking for those interested in running for board positions. General meetings are held the second Thursday of every month  and are open to the public. Board meetings are held the last Thursday of every month at the same time at City Hall. Fees will be set when the budget is settled in October. Manager applications are in the newsletter registration form.

is made up of children ages 4-18 years old. The goal is to have fun and learn basic soccer skills. The league is made up of all volunteers, and parents are encouraged to get involved in their child's activities. Each session consists of instructions in every aspect of the game. Everyone participates in fun drills that are designed to teach skills. All children participate in non-competitive games on Saturdays.

is now accepting and mail-registrations. Blue Devils Youth Football is in its 42nd year of teaching the fundamentals of football and cheer to over 600 kids at 4 different levels here in Brunswick. It is a non-profit organization run by volunteers and is a newly designated USA Football, Heads Up Football affiliated league. BDYF feels it gives its players a distinct advantage by teaching them the current terminology and formations taught by the BHS coaching staff to help create an overall football program in Brunswick. Games are played on Saturdays at BHS.

North Park playgrounds closed this weekend

The playground equipment at North Park will be painted this weekend. The playgrounds will be closed from Friday, May 17 through Monday, May 20. The park itself will remain open during this time. Playground equipment will be available again beginning Tuesday, May 21.

Certified Group Exercise instructor needed for Cardio Toning, Cardio Sculpt or Cardio Mix classes. Preferred candidate will have certifications to teach group classes, have instructors insurance and be certified in CPR/AED. The Rec Center is looking for a part time (approximately 10-15 hours per week) building monitor and cashier. Applications are available at the front desk.
