We are very excited to announce amazing changes to our Safe
Haven After School Program.

Practical Martial Arts will be providing a master in karate twice a week this year.

Southwest General is also planning to be a big part of our
program providing several programs this year at no extra cost
to our families.

We are also adding new teachers to help grow our program,
including an art teacher that is very excited to bring new
ideas to our after school program.

The prices for the 2009-2010 school will be $45 per week for
members and $60 per week for non-members.

Safe Haven After School...the perfect link between school and home.

It's 3:00 pm. School's out. What does your child do now?

Safe Haven is the perfect link between school and home. This program is run daily by teachers from our community. Transportation to the Rec Center is provided by Brunswick City Schools.

Our program begins when the students arrive from school. The students are greeted by our staff of teachers. We have a variety of healthy snacks for the students to choose from.
After snack, the students have time to work on homework, study for tests, read and build friendships. The teachers are available to assist the students with their homework and studying. We currently offer swimming 2-3 times per week mixed with a variety of games 2-
3 days per week.

The Transportation Department requires the students to ride the school bus everyday (Monday - Friday) to the Rec Center once enrolled in the program. This helps ensure the safety of the students.
