DOCUMENT DISPOSAL - OCTOBER 10, 2009 001.jpg
Our Document Disposal Event held at City Hall/Police HQ on Saturday, October
10th was another success.
Received was over 300 pieces of non-perishable food-stuffs and $261 in cash.
The BCPAAA Charities will supplement the cash donations by $139.
Therefore, St. Mark's Lutheran Church's food pantry has received all the
food-stuffs and the Brunswick Food Pantry and that at the Brunswick United
Methodist Church will each receive $200.
Sincere thanks go to Richard Atkinson, Sue Esker,Vicky Kirkpatrick, Millie
Manning, John Rocha, Karen Nelson, Davis Linderman, John Prior, Gordon Kolus
and Bob Wasil of the BCPAAA for all your work at this event.
We appreciate Officer Duane Keuhn's influence at this event and, it should
be pointed out that Detective Dean Weinhardt drove up from Medina to
volunteer his time and efforts to work alongside the BCPAAA.
Similar thanks go to Ron Sency, General Manager of Cintas Corp for directing
this service being made available to us as well as Aaron Meredith and
Iyolexis Lopez, the two Cintas Service Representatives who worked hard right
alongside to make this project work.
The Brunswick Eagles Club brings us the icing on the cake, so-to-speak, as
their generosity in providing the massive, delicious Eagle Burgers sure
means a lot to bringing this most rewarding service event to a delicious
conclusion.
