Since 1988 the Division has participated directly with the Medina County mental health system which includes:
- Medina County Alcohol Drug Abuse Mental Health Board (ADAMH), dealing with mental health policy and funding issues.
- Alternative Paths Inc., dealing with Severe Emotional Disorders (SED [i.e., attempted suicide]), and Severe Mental Disorders (SMD [i.e., schizophrenia]). The agency provides twenty-four hour a day mental health services for a range of emotional distress and psychiatric issues.
- Solutions Behavioral Healthcare Inc., dealing with general counseling, chemical uses and abuse.
- Catholic Social Services, dealing with family and domestic violence issues.
All of the agencies have offices and/or services available in Brunswick.
