The Skyview Drive project is scheduled to start on Wednesday, July 26. The project will last through the end of October.
During that period, the road will be closed to through traffic between Pearl Road and Pinnacle Drive. Local access will be maintained in the eastbound direction only. Traffic will not be permitted to proceed westbound on Skyview between Pinnacle Drive and Pearl Road. Delays should be expected within the work zone during working hours.
During the first phase of construction, residents of Castle Court and Knight Lane will need to access their homes from Pearl Road. Residents of Woodhollow Drive, Villas of Fox Hollow, and Skyview Drive west of Pinnacle will be able to access their homes from Judita Drive via Magnolia Drive during the first phase. Also, it is advised that residents of Forest Hills Apartments use Magnolia Drive to Judita Drive to access the complex’s parking lots.
It’s orange barrel season again.
The asphalt program is officially underway in Brunswick. Resurfacing work is already complete on Rocklyn Drive. Repairs have been made on Jefferson Avenue and Charles Drive, and a leveling course has been applied on Ganyard and Charles.
Still remaining is the chip seal and Onyx surface seal on Jefferson/Ganyard/Charles. The remaining work has not been scheduled, but more information should be coming soon.
The concrete program starts on Wednesday, July 5. Work will begin on Valley Forge and Potomac, and will quickly move from there into Ward 2. Traffic will be maintained but delays are possible.
