K-9 unit

Police

 

The Brunswick Division of Police K-9 Unit is comprised of two K-9 teams: Officer Mark Luciano with his partner K9, Nico, and Officer Joseph Ceccacci with his partner K9, Koda. Nico and Koda are both male Belgian malinois who were imported from Holland. The teams are certified for patrol/narcotic work by the state of Ohio. Their primary functions include: narcotic/drug detection, apprehension of fleeing criminals, tracking lost or fleeing individuals, building searches, article searches and crowd control.
