ODOT has announced that it’s in the final stage of work on North Carpenter Road prior to opening it up to traffic for the winter. Though the road is not open yet, concrete paving has been completed and the remaining driveway aprons are being worked on, along with the installation of pavement markings. The latter will be temporary markings, with permanent ones to be installed sometime in 2020.
The remainder of the work will be cleanup and completion of the underdrains, and letting the most recently poured concrete cure out so it reaches the proper strength prior to opening to traffic.
Once the road is re-opened, the contractor will start moving mailboxes back to their proper locations for the winter.
Watch for further announcements.
