Clerk II, City of Brunswick

The Brunswick Civil Service Commission will give an open, competitive exam for the position of Clerk II. The exam consists of two parts: written examination and computer skills test. The written portion of the exam will be given on May 4, 2019. Register in person at the Civil Service Office, Brunswick City Hall, 4095 Center Rd., Brunswick, between 9:00 am and 4:30 pm on these dates only: April 4, 5, 11 & 12. The computer skills portion of the exam will be given the day you register and/or application is received; please allow one hour to complete this portion of the exam. Secretary for Board of Zoning Appeals and Board of Building Appeals

The City of Brunswick is accepting resumes for the position of Secretary for the Board of Zoning Appeals and the Board of Building Appeals.

Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Additional post-High School education in secretarial/administrative and computer software courses preferred. Work experience in municipal government desirable. Superior oral and written communication skills, computer skills required and transcription skills preferred. Candidate must be willing to become familiar with procedures for the Boards. Hours will vary, as needed, but should average 24 hours per week. Must be available to attend evening meetings, as required.  Salary range is $9.50 to $17.66 per hour.

Building monitors, aerobics instructors, lifeguards, counselors, WSIs and water safety instructors

The Brunswick Community Recreation and Fitness Center is hiring building monitors, aerobics instructors, lifeguards, counselors, and WSIs and water safety instructors.

Certified Group Exercise instructors are needed for Cardio Toning, Cardio Sculpt or Cardio Mix classes. Preferred candidate will have certifications to teach group classes, have instructors insurance and be certified in CPR/AED. Looking for instructors to teach classes weekday mornings and/or Sunday morning/afternoons. 

Lifeguard positions are for the early bird (4:45-9:45 am) and mid-day shift (9:45 am-3:00 pm)
