The City of Brunswick operates under the Council-Manager form of government.
The City Manager is appointed by City Council based on professional experience, education and commitment to public service. The City Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the City overseeing the appointed department heads. He directs the divisions of Police, Fire, Service, Parks/Recreation, Law, Finance, Community and Economic Development, Engineering, Building, Administrative Services, Information Technology and Cable.
