I-71/Boston Rd. Interchange Info

Ohio Revised Code 5501.60 was repealed with the signing of House Bill 54 on March 31, 2025.
ORC 5501.60 mandated an interchange at Boston Road and I-71.
Brunswick City Council took many steps to declare its opposition to ORC 5501.60.
Dedicated members of the community banded together to fight ORC 5501.60. Their goal was to prevent residents from losing their property and emphasize the importance of homes, not highways.
In the previous general assembly, Senator Mark Romanchuk, Representative Melanie Miller, and Representative Sharon Ray introduced pieces of legislation to repeal ORC 5501.60. Without the passage of Amended SB 155 or HB 276 in the Ohio House of Representatives, ORC 5501.60 remained until 3/31/2025.
